LEGAL NOTICE & TERMS OF SALE The Layering Lab

1. Business Overview The Layering Lab is an independent decant and fragrance resale business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of the fragrance brands or houses whose products we carry.
2. Trademark Disclaimer All brand names, fragrance names, and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names is solely for descriptive identification purposes. The Layering Lab makes no claim of ownership over any third-party intellectual property.
3. Product Authenticity All fragrances sold by The Layering Lab are 100% authentic, purchased through legitimate retail and authorized channels. Decants are hand-filled by The Layering Lab in clean, unused containers. We do not sell counterfeit, diluted, or adulterated products.
4. All Sales Are Final Due to the nature of fragrance decants and personal care products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. Replacements or store credit are issued at our sole discretion.
5. Shipping & Risk of Loss Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon carrier pickup. The Layering Lab is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier once the package has been handed off. We ship all orders carefully packed; however, fragrance is a liquid and minor leakage during transit is possible.
6. Age Requirement By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
7. Allergen & Sensitivity Disclaimer Fragrances contain complex chemical compounds that may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. It is the buyer's responsibility to test products safely. The Layering Lab is not liable for any adverse reactions.
8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Layering Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
9. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
